Hi, my name is Ben Comber and I am a snowboarder and architectural student based in Christchurch, NZ.

I have been snowboarding since I was 12 and I havebecome increasingly passionate and ‘hooked’ on the sport.

My other passion is Architecture, which I am currently in my final year of study for. My life revolves around a fine balance between these two passions.

I have competed in regional, national and international snowboard competitions,which has gained me some great results and I have visited some amazing places along the way.

I have met some amazing people, made friends, acquired new skills, worked, partied, competed, travelled and most importantly I have had the best time of my life.

I hope to continue doing all of these amazing things that snowboarding has made possible.

I plan to compete at more world class events such as the Burton Global Open series,TTR World Champs, FIS World Champs, X games, Dew Tour and in a few years down the track the Olympics.

To achieve these goals it will not only take continued support from the NZ Academy of Sport but also my sponsors who have already provided support for a number of years.
